LIGHT THE FIRE

Every year we light a fire that will stay lit and manned, 24/7, for 22 days to raise awareness of the, on average, 22 Veterans a day we lose to suicide.

This year we have the honor of hearing from a Gold Star family who knows the pains of suicide all too well. Kevin & Gay Murga lost their son, Cap. Austin Murga of the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, to suicide 6 months after his return home from Afghanistan. Join us as we hear their story and raise awareness of this growing epidemic our nation’s veterans are facing.

Sign up to volunteer for a fire watch shift: 4-hour shifts run 24/7 from noon 5/4 – 10am 5/25.

Can’t come out for a shift? Sponsor a day of Fire Watch instead and support the men and women who have signed up to serve.

Limited spots will be available for both!
