The Enhanced South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit course offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to improve firearm proficiency and safety. In addition to the state-mandated subject matter and firearms qualification courses, this class emphasizes snap-in and dry-fire techniques. These are essential for developing proper, safe gun-handling skills prior to live-fire on the range.
Participants will receive detailed instruction on proper presentation from the holster, stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger control, ensuring they build a solid foundation for accurate shooting. By incorporating these dry fire exercises, the class not only enhances shooting skills but also boosts confidence and preparedness in handling firearms responsibly.
Students will then apply these techniques during live-fire practice prior to the CWP qualification course. This approach ensures that permit holders are well-equipped to carry concealed weapons safely and effectively and promotes a safe, efficient training environment.
