Operation Patriots FOB is on a mission to serve those who serve us—veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families—through outdoor-based programming that restores purpose, connection, and mental clarity. To help us keep our 268-acre Ridgeland facility and all OPFOB offerings 100% FREE, we’re hosting one of our biggest events of the year: 5th Annual OPFOB Dinner for the Heroes.
WHY IT MATTERS:
- This event sells out every year, and this year will be the biggest yet
- All proceeds go directly to keeping our 268-acre property and programs completely free to those we serve
- Supports our mission to reduce the devastating rate of veteran and first responder suicides
- OPFOB has welcomed over 50,000 visits in just five years—a clear sign of the critical need for what we provide
- In recognition of the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attack on our country, we will honor our Iraq and Afghanistan veterans
This year, we are honored to welcome Bart Oates as the keynote speaker for this year’s Dinner for the Heroes. A 3X Super Bowl Champion and 5X Pro Bowl center, Bart enjoyed a distinguished NFL career with the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers, earning a reputation for leadership, toughness, and excellence both on and off the field. Today, he continues to advocate for mental health, resilience, and service, making him a powerful voice for an evening dedicated to honoring the veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and families at the heart of the OPFOB mission.
This is more than a dinner. It’s a statement. It’s a stand.
And it’s your chance to be part of the most impactful night in the Lowcountry for those who’ve given everything for our safety and freedom. Join us and be a part of our mission!

"The Dinner for the Heroes is an opportunity to for us to recognize those that to continue to help us accomplish our mission daily. The support we receive ensures that no one is forgotten, and we continue to save lives both mentally, physically, and spiritually. OPFOB has done just that for me and many others to come. None of which would be possible without the support of our community."
