Brett Hatter

Brett began his distinguished career in the United States Marine Corps in 2010 as an 0352 with 3/3, eventually serving as a Team Leader where he ensured the safety, training, and welfare of his team. During this period, he managed over $2 million worth of military assets and led operations across seven countries, including Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

Between 2014 and 2016, Brett served as a Primary Marksmanship Instructor, delivering thousands of hours of instruction on marksmanship's fundamental, mechanical, and psychological aspects. His efforts resulted in a 98% qualification rating for over 3,000 personnel trained under his supervision.

In 2016, Brett advanced to a Formal school instructor, where he managed a team of instructors and was responsible for preparing, instructing, and evaluating students in military occupation-producing schools. He successfully trained and certified over 120 Marine Primary Marksmanship Instructors.

From 2017 to 2018, he served with 2/6 as CAAT Section Leader, and Chief Armory Custodian, overseeing and being accountable for military assets worth over $14 million, ensuring all gear was maintained and serviceable. In his final role with the Marines, as Company Operations Chief from 2018 to 2019, Brett supervised 21 individuals and coordinated extensive training and live fire exercises, ensuring the logistical and operational needs of his company were met.

Following his military service, Brett transitioned to the private sector, joining Katimi Corp in early 2019 as an Infantry Subject Matter Expert for the Infantry Immersion Trainer at Camp Lejeune. In this role, he was responsible for developing and implementing complex tactical scenarios, leading debriefings, and managing logistical requirements. His expertise in tactical operations and training proved invaluable in enhancing the realism and effectiveness of training exercises.

In October 2019, Brett joined Conflict Kinetics, initially serving as Site Lead and Senior Instructor. He maintained and operated the Gunfighter Gym synthetic training system and developed the Advanced Small Arms Lethality Trainer (ASALT) program for the 2nd Marine Division that has since become the Marine Corps Wide.

His innovative training methods, which incorporated sports science techniques, enhanced the performance of over 8,000 Marines, Sailors, and special operators.

In March 2024, Brett was promoted to Associate Director of LE Programs and Deputy Project Manager, where he now manages training portfolios, develops instructional systems, leads business development initiatives, and builds client relations at various levels. His extensive experience and commitment to excellence continue to make a significant impact on the training and performance of law enforcement and military professionals.
