Memorial Day Ceremony

Ceremony will begin promptly at 9:00 AM at the flagpole.

Join us as we gather to honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. Following the ceremony, you are invited to Coffee & Camaraderie in the barn. Stay for coffee, breakfast, and time together in reflection.

We are honored to welcome Lieutenant Colonel James Banton, USMC (Ret.), as the Guest of Honor Speaker for this year’s Memorial Day Celebration at Operation Patriots FOB. A Virginia Military Institute graduate and decorated Marine Corps officer, Lieutenant Colonel Banton served our nation for more than two decades as an AV-8B Harrier pilot, Forward Air Controller during Operation Enduring Freedom, and Joint Special Operations Command Fires Support Officer supporting combat operations across the globe. Today, he continues his commitment to those who serve as the COO of Operation Patriots FOB, leading the mission to support veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families right here in the Lowcountry.

After the ceremony, the Ground of Honor Memorial Clay Shoot will meet at the 5-stand for the safety brief and will start the tournament.
