Rifle Level 1 is designed for shooters who are already familiar with the rifle/carbine platform and want to strengthen their foundation while being challenged through dynamic, real‑world drills.

This course focuses on mastery of the basics, efficient weapon handling, and the transition from static marksmanship to movement‑based, performance‑driven shooting.

What You’ll Learn

• Enhanced familiarity and control of the rifle/carbine platform
• Marksmanship fundamentals that translate under stress
• Efficient rifle manipulation with sling and gear
• CQB holdovers and start positions
• Reloads, malfunction management, and weapon transitions
• Shooting on the move, from cover, and from multiple positions
• Performance shooting with elevated heart rate and time standards

• Zero confirmation and accuracy standards
• Dynamic reload and malfunction drills
• Primary‑to‑secondary weapon transitions
• Shooting forward, backward, and laterally
• Positional and barricade shooting
• Timed drills and stress‑based courses of fire

This is a hands‑on, high‑round‑count course that blends instruction with repetition—built to make you faster, safer, and more confident behind the rifle.

Required Gear

• Carbine rifle with optic and sling (mounted)
• 3 rifle magazines / ~350 rounds rifle ammo
• Pistol with Level II retention holster (no Serpa)
• 3 pistol magazines / ~150 rounds pistol ammo
• Eye & ear protection (electronic recommended)
• Appropriate range attire
• Water and snacks
• Duty belt, vest, or plate carrier optional
